Situated on 40 acres of forestland in NW Oregon, we utilize hearty, heritage breeds of livestock to help us regenerate our heavily logged acreage via regenerative grazing and growing practices. Our Icelandic sheep are particularly helpful in eating back invasives, pruning the native foliage, and fertilizing the soil. We breed our sheep for hardiness and strive for a balance of the original trifecta of meat, dairy, and fiber characteristics. We are consistently bringing in new genetics from farms around the country to maintain diversity in everything from wool color to conformation and even personality, and also to constantly select the best flock members to continue on as breeding stock.
