We are a family run farm in the rolling hills and mountains of Northern Maine.  Here on the farm we are dedicated to saving and preserving old heritage breed livestock, and helping others do the same.  We also use materials produced by our Icelandic sheep daily to better our farm and way of life.  We handmake many old style and traditional crafts and goods, some of which have been nearly forgotten over the years.  Our flock of Icelandic sheep is carefully selected for the best genetics, but most importantly the best traits in every generation that is produced.  We look at the whole sheep in our selection process.  Wool, conformation, wide horn set, good feet, good meat production, good milk production, as well as good temperament for safe and enjoyable handling, and good mothering, is important to us.  We also breed for good natural parasite resistance. We are always seeking to find new genetics to better our beautiful flock even more, and be able to continue preserving and raising these gorgeous and incredible heritage sheep.
